G Force Cricket Academy Gladiators in Under 14 and Under 16 category wins GCC Cup 2021. Tournament sponsored by Premier Technology where we had 4 teams in each categories. 2 teams visited from Bahrain and 2 teams from UAE participated in both the age group categories. G Force Sports Services & HPCA Bahrain has organized this event where we had 24 games in total to play in 9 days. Boys have had good time of playing competitive cricket. G Force Cricket Academy beat HPCA Bahrain team in Under 16 tournament final. G Force posted 161 runs in allotted 30 over. Captain Sahib got 23, followed by Vansh Kumar 22 runs. Top contribution come from Ridhay Bhatia scoring 51 runs in 71 balls. His matured inning helped G Force Cricket Academy to post the decent total at the end. 161 runs in 30 overs is good enough for bowlers to restrict them. HPCA Bahrain had couple of very good games in the tournament. Strong batting line up all set to chase the target. G Force fast bowlers Shreyas Kumar and Rishi Suresh had different plan. Both bowled as per the team plan and got the break through. Shreyas Kumar, who had one good week of cricket was the top performer of the day. He picked up 5 wickets for 18 runs including 1 maiden over. He was well supported by Rishi Suresh, Aditya Bhatia and Saif Ali Khan. All got the wickets at the end. HPCA Bahrain bowled out for just 53 runs in 14.2 over. Final was once sided and credit goes to the G Force Cricket Academy bowlers to bowled them out. HPCA Bahrain had tough day but they had good tournament as well. Shreyas Kumar was Player of the final, best bowler and Most Valued player as well.
