Vansh Kumar unbeaten 92 beats Simply Cricket Academy in Gulf Cup Under 15 tournaments
G Force Cricket Academy beat Simply Cricket academy by 7 wickets in Gulf Cup Under 15 age group categories. Unbeaten Vansh Kumar played an excellent knock of 92 runs in 79 balls with 8 fours & 1 six to sealed victory in 25th over of the match.
Simply Warriors, posted 181 runs for 4 in allotted 30 overs after winning toss & batting first. Advaith Pillai 54, Vian Pais 49 posted 96 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. Simply were going great guns with 6 runs per over. G Force Cricket Academy spin bowlers restricted well and Neeraj Shah brought the first break through for G Force. Saif Ali Khan, Naveen Ranganathan bowled well without the wickets but they have stopped their run flows. Captain Sahib Abichandani with his medium pace bowling got maximum 2 wickets for 19 in 4overs.
Chasing down 182 runs was easy when inform batsman Sahib Abichandani, Shane Saldanha & Ridhay Bhatia was there on top orders. Shane was first to after scoring 6 runs, captain Sahib quick fire 18 runs in 15 balls failed to capitalised and Ridhay Bhatia 9 runs in 14 balls was not enough to support man of the match and wicket keeper batsman Vansh Kumar. His staying at the crease and scoring 92 not out get the right support from Kushal Khitani 18 runs in 31 balls helped to add another 86 runs for the 4th wicket.
Excellent run chase from G Force Cricket Academy boys and such performance will bring the best from the budding cricketers.
